33821 Olinda is a sweet little starter house!

Even more interesting than the 2001 price of $275,000 is the sales price just three years earlier of $137,500. Uh, wow.

Yes, I really like the Olinda house. I could handle living in 1000 SF but the lot size would be the killer for me.

The trouble with Olinda would be all your neighbors. That's a serious party/rental block. Lots of noise. Zero parking.

Cute house, though.

I offered $375,000 about 3 months ago. Never heard back from the bank. It has a great cottage feel and the back yard was amazing. But, RahRahGrl is right on about the neighbors. It seems that every lot has been developed into a 4-plex and whoever was the code enforcer could care less about density and parking issues. The only expanison you could do on the lot is up and there is no garage. When I submitted the offer the agent said the bank was only considering numbers with a 4 in front. They sure did get close to that 4 on the low end. I'm happy the previous owner was able to get out relatively unscathed. She seemed like a nice lady who was way in over her head.
